NOOO!!!!!!!!!

School has begun! NOOOO! and to make it worse my bff moved so that make me sad. I guess Ill pull through though. (not that i really have a choice) Well i guess all is well besides that. :) I'll write more later. BYE

Mmmm tasty!

Well this is a picture of a cucumber that we got out of our garden the other day. We have had this big thriving cucumber plant in our garden that we made in March but it has only been producing lots of cute little cucumbers the size of paperclips. We had just been waiting for them to get bigger but it was just taking forever! Finally , one morning I was just on the computer upstairs while my mom was outside with Spencer, gardening and such and my mom shouted up to me. "Siena, come here before I cut it off!!!!!!!" It sounded like she was scolding me for something but when she showed me what it was it turned out to be a big cucumber hanging from our plant! No wonder the other veggies weren't growing! The plant putting everything towards that cucumber. We didn't eat it at first, probably because we just loved looking at it. but eventually cut it and crunched on it. It was really good! We'll probably pull up our carrots soon. TTYL

Oh Noes!

Already?! A month of summer vacation just flew out the window before I could blink!OH DEAR! OH MY! OH NOES!!!! THIS CAN'T BE! Soon I'll be meeting my teachers at open house, and buying new suplies, and GOING TO SCHOOL. Only a month away! School starts even earlier this year; AUGUST 3RD! Oh well. I hope my best friend doesn't move before school starts... What a start to the new school year... saying goodbye to the ultimate BFF. Well Wish me a long rest of the summer :D

I'm a graduate!

YAY! I'm a graduate! Of... Music camp. Last week I attended Northern Arizona University's Curry Summer Music Camp and I had a blast! Forget that we weren't allowed to have soda, it was awesome. We drove up with one of my best friends in tow, Brittany Kaminsky who I shared a dorm with. As you may know I play the flute (and as for something you don't know) Brittany, however plays the bass clarinet. When we got up there we signed into our dorms, ate breakfast and had auditions so that they could rank us according to how well we played. I got nervous but I did it. That night we went over the rules and me and Britt met our suite mates, Katrina and Kiersten. Kiersten was a violin player and Katrina was cellist. Oddly they turned out to be Mormon just like me! what a coincidence! They were nice and we all became friends quickly. The next day we had breakfast (ByTheWay the food there was really good!) and found out what our ranks were. Brittany, Kiersten, and Katrina were all second chair, Brittany in Symphonic with me, and Katrina and Kiersten in Orchestra. And what was I? thirteenth chair. nice. OUT OF FOURTEEN! I really don't care except it makes me sound like I'm a really bad player but I'm not! I'm totally average. They treated me just like the first flute (well apart from me not having to play the scary solo in front of a billion people) Those audition songs were just really hard and I didn't practice much :p Anywho, since it was a Sunday (weekend) we got to hang out and bond with our awesome suite mates. at 2:30 we went to rehearsal ALL THE WAY ACROSS CAMPUS (idk why they make everything so spread out) for two hours and then we walked back to the dorms (we walked that route a thousand times a day I swear I should have a lot of leg muscles now!) later we ate dinner and went to our evening activity. At night we were all so tired we crashed!!!!Throughout the rest of the week we went to our classes, music theory (where we learn to write music more neatly), sectionals (for only woodwinds), musicianship (where we learned all about women composers throughout time and how music evolved), flute class (learning new techniques on flute), rehearsals (the whole 100 people band), and world music (self explanatory; music around the world). and then we had dinner and our evening activity. As you can imagine it was pretty tiring so after we all had showers everyone crashed. On Saturday we preformed our four songs, Lion king, Ashokan Farewell, Apollo Fanfare, and Phrygian Phantasy to our families. Everyone loved it and we enjoyed ourselves alot! I was sad to leave but I got emails from my suite mates and I was really happy to see my family again. What an adventure it was. What an experience! And what do you know? I'm a college graduate! :P - Siena

Long time no see!

Wow what a rush! I have been gone for two weeks going to girls camp and curry summer music camp! Girls camp was sooo fun and we did so many things. I learned a bit of archery, hatchet throwing, and skeet shooting. Though I didn't hit a single target on any of the activities it was fun! We also went repelling down a forty foot cliff by the nearby lake and it went... well. Everyone was freaked out when the saw how far 40 feet could really be but we got through it and took the "plunge". Before my turn was up I had said that I was worried about the cliff falling, but they just laughed and said that I would actually fall (I doubted them). As I got strapped up the guy told me to step of the cliff and sit in the harness like a chair but it felt so freaky and unnatural to be sitting in the air at the edge of a cliff that could kill you if you fell. (yes the instructor said 40 feet COULD kill you which didn't help) I told the guy that I wasn't strong enough to hold myself up with just one arm but he said that I WAS strong enough. Well I sure proved him WRONG. I slipped and the next thing I knew the sky was below me. I dangled there right at the edge of the cliff and struggled to get back right side up. When I made it down the said I did great and that I made a quick recovery but... yeah I don't believe it. After that we made necklaces and traded pins for our lanyards and went on a big hike to the lake. The water was cold so I didn't swim, I just stuck my feet in and rode the canoe. On the trip home we stopped at dairy queen and got blizzards and I fell asleep in the car all the way back to Goodyear. I was happy to see my mom and siblings and I took a long, warm shower when I got home. Afterwards I took a nap, woke up, a dinner, packed for the next camp, went back to bed for the ride up to the next camp in the morning. HOW TIRING! anyway my dad's yelling at me to go to bed so I'll tell you all about band camp tomorrow.

PAINT

I looooove to draw, paint, sketch, mold, and do anything that involves art! Now I've found a new way to make art and its so easy to put it on my posts! Its on this cool computer program called PAINT. It takes quite a while to draw on the computer and its hard unless you have a really steady hand but I think its GREAT! Anyways I thought I'd show you this picture I drew on PAINT before I headed of to IKEA. Its my normal style, Japanese anime so you can see what I spend my time doing (not my best work though) :P HAVE AN AWESOME SUMMER!

I'm going chic and stylish

Its true! this summer i hope to redo my room. I LOVE the way it is now... its sooo elegant and incredibly unique but I hope to start fresh! Summer vacation has started and the whole family (but mostly my mother and I) is working to clear out the clutter. In the process, my dad's office is being moved upstairs and Lily's room will be moved into the old office room. Hopefully, we will add some great new things for Lily and make her excited to spend time in her new room. Lily will have a garden room with a bird house, some birds, a tree on her wall and grass at the floor, fireflies at night and wind chimes! But of course my dad isn't to happy to have his office moved. Now, we will need a new desk upstairs for the two computer systems and we'll need lots of space. That's where the clutter clear-away comes in. I am selling my doll house on creg's list, selling my horse set on e-bay and getting rid of soooo much more. Every one's toys are being moved to their own rooms too! With luck everything will work out...













Anyways so then I will be redoing my room. First of all I'm getting rid of my desk and my book shelves and getting a new desk with shelves going up the wall.Three of my walls will be Tiffany blue and one will be ivory. On the ivory side of the wall there will be open blue and black circles. With that comes new fabric so my curtains are turning blue, my window seat and bed will become black and there will be lots and lots of new ivory and blue pillows! can you remember it all? Jeesh I wouldn't be able to if i wasn't the one who was changing it. YAY! BRING ON THE NEW! PS- I drew this on Paint. Its a rough copy of what my room will look like. I'll show pics when the room is finished. BYAS!

As you know within the past few weeks we have had valentines day! My day was lovely and involved making a beautiful and quite lovely garden with Madame Mom. Yes, me and my mother are making a garden. We have already planted a jalapeño plant, some mint, LOTS of strawberries, Bell peppers, Basil, and we're gonna plant ALOT more stuff like tomatoes, watermelon, onion, chives, Cabbage, lettuce, cantaloupe, and a bunch of other stuff. We all got little boxes of chocolates which was YUMMERS! Well anyways so rewind that day and here I was at 8:30 making heart cookies for the fam. and (the reason why I was making cookies in teh first place) my Bff Erika. I put the cookies in a shoe box that I'd decorated and added a little green frog stuffed animal. Pretty cool right?? Well it would have been better if I hadn't given the cookies (which were supposed to be fresh) like three days later :P So, anywho Erika said the cookies were good (Complements to the chef!) so that was a relief. I got a little friendship necklace that she worked quite hard on and a cute little TY! (I LOVE TY'S) Ain't he ADORABLE! His name is Charming! So yeah that was really sweet of her! I quite enjoyed my holiday... On Monday - since it was president's day - we had no school! So me and my mother worked more on the garden which after wards I went upstairs to watch WALL-E with Spencer. That's when Erika came over to exchange gifts and she joined the crowd too. On Tuesday everyone kept asking me why I brought a certain little blue horse to school and I replied "CUZ I WUV HIM AND HE'S MY BUDDY" while waving him in their face! :P When I told my FAVORITE TEACHER IN THE WORLD, Mr. Raths, that I had I horsey he was like "OHHHH... Cool?" as I showed him my new blue horse! I love that horsie O mine FR SURE! BYAS!

Wanna hear about my birth day now?????

Okay- yeah I know i'm TOTALLY lame with this blogging stuff but school is harsh! It keeps me on the tippiest of a toes! Anywhoz If I can remember I shall recite my last B-day party. Well so people came to my house and we ate Pizza outside with a bunches of lanterns (THANKYOU SISTER WIRTH) and posters that had Japanese signs on it(THANKS MOM!) but it was a little (LOT) windy- oh well. Every one was all happy and kept shouting nicknames out for each other. Oh right so I had like six people (ERIKA, BRITTANY,CHAILEY,LIZ,HUNTER,AND TAYLOR) shouting at each other all at once. (the neighbors probably had a VERY sleepless night) Taylor became Tator tot, and then the rest of us became EEE-chan (erika), BRITT-chan (brittany), CHAILEY-chan (chailey), YENA-chan (me), LIZ-chan, and really all hunter had to say was "what the heck?!". lovely right?? SO then we did a scavenger hunt for our own handmade Japanese purses and some lip gloss and soap. okay so get ready for this. We were having a tootsie roll eating contest- which would have been great- if Erika hadn't choked! Yes she choked on a wad of tootsie roll. (they always said candy was bad for you but I never knew they meant this!) So my mom did the Heimlich and Erika went to the bathroom for a few moments. (she lived!) I was SO scared for her and abandoned my guests to go talk to her. I saw her in the bathroom really scared of course. But then I get choked up and start sobbing saying "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I shouldn't be crying... I'm sorry are you okay? I was so scared!" and all that. In the end we went back out to the party after a few hugs and "are you sure your ok???!!!"s. (Later during school if we act like we are chocking because someone said something absurd either me or brittany say "Don't have a tootsie roll moment!") Then we went swimming but that was FREEZING, but hilarious. See my old friend Liz has this thing where if she is in a pool in the dark she gets scared of sharks. So what I kept doing is cover up the pool light to scare Liz. The downside though- she gets you back GOOD. So when I would uncover the pool light Liz became the shark. That vicious creature would swim really fast and then snatch me with its long, sharp, demon nails and try to drag ME under. Until I of course, escaped from the water completely. That kept going on for like twenty minutes until I was too cold. Sadly, After swimming Hunter had to go home and the rest of us would sleep in a tent all night. Except- we barely slept at all. So, after making COOL cupcake sushi's and watching a few Japanese movies (english Dubbed) we headed out side and played pigs in a blanket and a bunch of games. All night we stayed up eating cold pizza, soda, and candy while sharing stories on the waterfall. It was past four when we went to bed. *SNORE* and when we woke up we were dead tired as we smacked the heck out of my pinata. Breakfast was milk, french toast, and scrambled eggs. Sadly, the party had to end and everyone said their goodbyes. Later that day I took a nice long nap (which I rarely ever do cuz I hate naps)and Iwent to yet another birthday party but this time I was the guest. It was my friend Kendra's 12th B-day party too and we swam in her WARM pool and later be had Pizza and shakes and candy. Then we watched a movie and aate popcorn. After the movie we danced like friggin rock star and played a few games. Afterwards I went home and slept in till 12:00pm :P At my real B-day we had my favorite dish Chicken Brian (NOT BRAIN!), and German chocolate cake with ice cream. This year I will be turning... TEEN!!!! me and a few friends will go to the mall to get makeovers and go shopping!!!!!!! :P TTYL- signed YENERS!

goodbye Washington

I'll miss you Washington. I am about to leave and i am giving a final speech. I love you Washington. I love you Grandma and Papa. I love you my many cousins, and the old Dalmatian Wes (or Boosif the spotty dog) goodbye Aunts and Uncles. Goodbye snow and rain. and really and truly goodbye trees. I love Everything that there is to be in Washington - and hopefully I can soon... come again. I'm soaking up the last few minutes. at home. Were I belong. Me? Me you say? Melodramatic? no, not at all no of course not. this is how it is, how Iam. I stare out at the endless green and feel such love for it all so i do say, Goodbye and I love you Washington.

Snoqualmie Falls

our last full day in Washington. I will really REALLY miss it here but i REALLY also miss my kitty *tears* so it'll be ok. hopefully i can come here next summer. idunno if that's gunna happen thow.so anywho we're about to leave to go to Snoqualmie falls and Sara Jane (my cuzzy) doesn't want to come so that's sad. the party pooper. when i get back i'll give more details and such. i love you guys and hope to see my fellow Arizonans soon. (not truly) *gasp* no, no offense to you but, grr i don't want to come back really... i'll chain myself to a tree i guess. :) anyways so yeah.
